My Party Is Grinding won’t start, won’t connect, or says you’re banned

Coded from the 11 negative reviews among the 17 most recent Steam reviews, pulled 2026-08-27. Every row carries a source type. We have no official confirmation for anything marked “player report”, and we say so rather than guessing.

Before you file a report

It is an always-online game

The store page states progress, items and currencies are issued and verified server-side, and that an internet connection is required. Offline play is not supported.

Offline catch-up is not offline play

You keep earning gold and XP while the game is closed, capped at 8 hours per the store page. That is a different thing from playing without a connection.

No gold or XP from kills is intended

Rewards settle on stage clear, not per kill. This is the single most common misread in the launch-day reviews.

Still stuck on progression rather than a fault?

If the game runs but you cannot get past an act, that is a different problem — and a very common one. Only 0.2% of players worldwide hold the Act 2 clear achievement. See the stage completion rates →
